"Just Want to Be with You" Concert by Evan Yo 蔡旻佑 with Special Guest Nicholas Teo 张栋梁 – Presented by W Lyonnais Foncier Neuve Parfaith Sdn Bhd
On September 28, 2024, Evan Yo made his much-anticipated return to the stage with his brand-new concert titled "Just Want to Be with You" 《只想和你一起唱》at Zepp Kuala Lumpur. After a five-year hiatus, this performance marked his debut concert in Malaysia. Presented by W Lyonnais Foncier Neuve Parfaith Sdn Bhd, the show featured a special guest appearance by the beloved artist Nicholas Teo.
Jointly prepared by the renowned 必应创造 B'in Live director team, known for their work with top Chinese pop stars and international bands, the concert was meticulously crafted to showcase Evan Yo’s artistic brilliance. Serving as one of the music directors, Evan Yo collaborated closely with the production team to create a dynamic full-band setup, blending the warmth of his classic hits with fresh, reimagined renditions that fuse classical and pop styles.
Evan Yo brought his unreserved talent, creativity, and playful charm to the stage, offering fans a magical musical experience, reminding them of the simple joy of being together through music.

At the 2024 ASEAN Leadership & Partnership Forum, W Straits Limited was honored with the Outstanding ASEAN Corporation of the Year Award, presented by Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The forum took place amid the backdrop of ASEAN's impressive recovery following two years of weak growth due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The forum highlighted ASEAN's strong rebound in 2022, driven by pent-up demand, robust domestic fundamentals, and the resurgence of tourism following border reopenings. However, global economic challenges, including aggressive interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve, Europe’s energy crisis, and the ongoing wars in Ukraine and Palestine, pose significant headwinds to growth. The region continues to face high inflation, currency depreciation, and weak export demand, with full economic recovery expected above pre-pandemic levels by the end of 2023.
With Lao PDR as chair and the theme ASEAN Connectivity & Resilience of Growth, the 2024 forum emphasized building institutional capacity and enhancing regional resilience to ensure sustainable, inclusive growth. The ASEAN Leadership and Partnership Forum serves as a critical platform for government, business, and thought leaders to discuss key challenges and trends shaping the future of the region.
